AA Tennis skirt dupe

My package finally arrived yesterday! I ordered this skirt on Amazon for $16.

I had previously ordered this skirt as a size medium because reviews on Amazon said it ran small.. Truth is, you have to pay attention to the measurements they give you in the product description!! This skirt doesn't stretch. So as long as you order according to the measurements, you should be fine I think. A lot of reviews focused on how it was the Large that ran small though? I don't know.. oh well. The small fits me perfectly and I havea 25inch waist.

 Lol the labels caught me off guard because they all said American Apparel and I just thought.. I'm pretty sure it's not.
I don't have an American Apparel skirt, so I can't make comparisons to the original.

^I don't know if you can see but there's a few loose threads here and there. No biggie.

  I think it's a pretty good material. It's not flimsy. The pleat on the left isn't folded right but I can't iron it because..

^ok that kinda fucked me up cuz I was just like.. what if I get it dirty?? I can't iron or bleach? I spill food all the time! I even stained my boyfriend's white shirt with salsa like 2 weeks ago :C
But I'm probably going to throw it in the washing machine anyway.....

 You can kind of see through the material. (I'm wearing light blue panties trimmed with lace here, can you see it?)

 Fun fact: I didn't learn til last year that people actually go out wearing skirts and only panties. I thought everyone wears spankies/spandex under like I do.

Overall, I think this skirt is really good for what it's worth. It's a really pretty dupe! heheh. When I walked to my class today/walked around, the skirt kind of rotated so that the button ended up on the other side of my tummy. LOL. It might just be the way that I walk that does that? hahah oh welp. The shipping was pretty fast, too. After the order was processed, it only took 6 days to get to me!

I'd totally recommend this skirt as an alternative to the AA tennis skirt. Just make sure you don't wear like hella bright pink panties under the skirt or something!

Also lol I played tennis in high school so I have pleated skirts in black and red... but this is high waisted so!! it's ok that I got this!!
