In the museum and stuff, it'd say how after 100 years, they now do controlled fires for the benefit of the forest. but!!! they don't mention how controlled burning was a thing for THOUSANDS of years prior...since the ice age!. From Wikipedia: "Fires, both naturally caused and prescribed, were once part of natural landscapes in many areas. Studies have shown that between the mid Holocene and the 17th century AD, wildland fires annually burned between 45.0% and 87.5% of present-day California's total land, for example. These practices ended in the early 20th century when US fire policies were enacted with the goals of suppressing all fires.[4] Since 1995, the US Forest Service has slowly incorporated burning practices into its forest management policies." It just bugs me when history is erased/rewritten. ok that's all. Enjoy the quick video! :D

VLOG: NorCal Trip!

So a little more than a month ago, I went to NorCal with friends! and I recorded the trip with my handy dandy camera.

Check out my little vlog I finally edited last night! It's really quick (only 2 min) because I'm kinda into that now. Ideally I'd have wanted it to only be like 1min but this was 4 whole days! sooo... that didn't happen.

Klenspop~ Bunny Color Brown (Review!)

Hi all! Long time no post!

Today I'll be reviewing Bunny Color Brown from Klenspop (as of right now [Aug 19 2015 they are on sale $5 off!]). I actually got these lenses a few months ago, but I was having eye problems/irritated eyes prior to getting the lenses (don't sleep with contact lenses on!!) so I kept pushing the reviews to later and later dates, hoping it'd clear up so I'd be giving a completely fair review for you. I'll be doing a similar review with the POP Violet lens I got in the same package; so, I'm sorry if I am redundant. I'll vary the pictures a bit in the two posts but it's the same company and package so yeah you'll see duplicate photos.

Faux Suede Slides (Forever21)

During Forever21's free shipping promotion for President's Day, I ordered these cute slides!

So like, all the shoes I regularly wear are black lol. When I got that one dress from ShopTobi, I didn't have any light-colored shoes or sandals to go with it and ended up pairing the dress with black shoes. That's when I decided I wanted to get white/nude shoes/sandals, and I'm happy I got these ones!

So I was in need of more business-y looking clothes cuz I really don't have much. And so when I saw this dress on AliExpress, I was like oohh shii because it's a ready-to-go outfit! Like, I wouldn't have to do anything to it, just put on shoes and I'm good to go! hahah I'msolazy.

Colourpop Lippies! (Feminist & Creature)

It's another lipstick review!

(omg I obviously only like these two kinds of colors.. looks like my MAC lipstick shades..)

I purchased these "lippie stix" from ColourPop! Left is "Feminist," right is "Creature." I first heard of this brand from tumblr. ColourPop sells a really pretty selection of lipstick, lip pencils and eyeshadows! All of the lipstick and lip pencils and almost all of the eyeshadow are vegan, none of it is tested on animals, and it's all for a pretty good price! Each item is only $5 with free shipping on purchases over $30. Despite the spelling of its name, Colourpop is based in Southern California. What really caught my attention with this company, though, are the swatches they use.
